Best Parish Award

Our Parish was awarded with the best parish award for 2023 in the annual meeting of the Diocesan Asembly of the Diocese of North America held on June 1s,t 2024, at the Long Island Mar Thoma Church. Congratulations to the Parish and the office bearers of 2023.

Giving Hands

As part of the ‘Giving Hands’ initiative, our kids had donated food cans during the VBS days, we were able to collect around 50 cans and this was handed over to Second Harvest.
We thank you for your contribution to the Giving Hands initiative and to Sunday School leaders who coordinated this event.

Yuvajana Sakyam Conference

Yuvajana Sakhyam has reopened registrations for retreat to be held between September 27-29, 2024 at Redwood Christian Park.
The speaker for the retreat is Austin Joy from Mar Thoma Church of San Francisco with the theme ‘Love and Grace: Foundations of Family’.
Please contact Sneha George for registration details.

Prayer Box

As part of prayer ministry, Edavaka Mission initiated use of prayer box. Any prayer request or requests you may have or anyone within your knowledge may have, please write them down and place them inside this box. The keys for the box will be kept with Achen and EM. If you do not want to disclose name or the subject matter to your prayer, please write as unspoken prayer request. We will open the box on Sunday morning and pray about them during fasting prayer and in our daily prayers. These prayer requests will be shared with SS prayer warriors.
No prayer request is too small or too big and nothing is impossible for our God. Again, any prayer requests that you do not want others to know about please write “ unspoken prayer request”. If anyone do not wish their name disclosed, please write just the prayer matter. If it is a need with a timeline, please mention that too so we know when to stop praying about that matter. We will keep a prayer request journal so it’s important that when your prayer is answered that you drop a note back in the box so we can thank God in our prayers for his faithfulness. Let us lift each other up and let us pray fervently for each other’s needs. We encourage everyone to please use this ministry. God is faithful even when we are not. He is a merciful God who hears our prayers

Outreach Led By Edavaka Mission

As a part of outreach ministry, Edavaka Mission has put a goodie bag to give away to panhandlers and homeless. The bag would contain a protein bar, few candies, two fruit items, two one-dollar bill and Bible tracks in English and Spanish. EM started providing the bag from June 16. We will restock the bag as needed. We will put everything except for the fruits and the dollar bills. Members are requested to take the bag add the fruits and dollar bill. When you see someone panhandling for money, please give them this goodie bag with a prayer that they would read the track and God’s spirit would touch their heart to make a change. For the goodie bag, please contact Edavaka Mission Secretary, Sherly Matthew.
