Lay Chaplains

The Lay Chaplaincy program is a new ministerial initiative of the Diocese that takes into consideration the unique challenges of the present context with the intent that a specialized lay ministry can be a useful way of supplementing the traditional ministerial model of the church. Mr. Tom Philip (from New Jersey) and Ms. Pushpa Samuel (from California) are appointed as Lay Chaplains of the Diocese. They will be working along with the clergy of their respective areas to minister to specific demographics, utilizing the specialized and contextual training they have received. Mr. Tom Philip will be focusing on the New York and New Jersey areas and Ms. Pushpa Samuel will be ministering to the parishes in California. Harvest Festival 2021

We will be having Harvest festival in a hybrid format after the Holy communion service on September 26. Arrangements are being made for attendees in person and in zoom to participate in this year’s harvest festival.
Like last year, we will have to order from restaurant if there are not enough items for auction. So, it will be very helpful if you could submit the items that you plan to contribute for the auction before September 19, Sunday. Please click here to submit the items.

Parish Convention 2021

We will have our Parish convention from October 7 to October 9 (Thursday to Saturday). Rev. Thomas.K.Mathew​ will be the main speaker this year. Achen is doing his ministry in Philadelphia area as the Youth Chaplin. The Convention will be at 7:00PM on Thursday and Friday and at 5:00PM on Saturday. Please plan to attend the convention in person.
