MTCSV Yuvajana Sakhyam with its principles of “Worship, Study, Witness and Service” is organized with a view that all of the Church young people in the Church should accept Jesus Christ as their savior and Lord, and bear witness to Him.
Sakhyam meets monthly either at the church after service or at the residence of one of its members. We have bible study, personality development, quiz, songs, messages and intercessory prayer in our meetings.
OBJECTIVES
- To help the youth of the church to grow in to the totality of Christ.
- To train the youth of the Church in the worship and fellowship of Christian life.
- To have participation of the youth in the mission of the Church.
- To instill love and faith towards the Church and Christian values and to help the over all growth of the Church.
- To organize and conduct meetings, discussions, and classes to improve the knowledge of the youth in the Holy Bible, church’s faith and practice, Ecumenism and in current social affairs
DIOCESE OF NORTH AMERICA & EUROPE YUVAJANA SAKHYAM
Mar Thoma Yuvajana Sakhyam in the Diocese of North America & Europe is actively engaged in various activities at Parish, Center, Region and Diocesan level. The main activities of the Yuvajana Sakhyam at the Diocesan level includes National Conference, Yuvadhara Publication, Mission Board, Kalamela etc. Every year, Yuvajana Varom is celebrated during one week of October by focusing on house visits, dhyana yogam and special prayers.
